David Leadbetter

David’s career took off in the mid-1980's through his documented work with Sir Nick Faldo which produced 6 Majors. Soon after David’s retirement from playing, he began to incorporate his methods and philosophies into astringent, holistic training program for qualified instructors that remains unmatched even today. Since launching the first Leadbetter Golf Academy over 30 years ago, David has coached players to 26 Major Championship titles and over 150 individual worldwide tournament victories.

Paul Dyer

Paul Dyer has been Leadbetter Golf instructor for the past 25 years having taught at all levels of the game from complete beginners to Ryder Cup players. He holds regular coaching events for many PGA Associations and is very active in Germany where he is a member of the PGA Coach Team. He holds qualifications in golf fitness, junior coaching and the short game, running the Leadbetter Golf Academies Timmendorfer Strand and Velbert and is regularly voted as one of the top 20 coaches in Germany.

Sean Hogan

Sean Hogan played collegiate golf at USF where he earned Academic All-American Status and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in management information systems. As a collegiate player, Sean made frequent trips to the Leadbetter Golf Academy in Championsgate, FL, to improve the mechanics of his game. It was during these lessons that Sean developed a great interest in the golf instruction, which ultimately inspired him to join David Leadbetter and his teaching staff as a trainee in 1994. Sean has become a Master instructor at the Leadbetter Golf Academy Worldwide Headquarters at Championsgate.

Ian Holloway

Ian was a successful amateur golfer having competed in national and international tournaments providing him with valuable experience of top-level competition. At the age of 18, he recognized his real passion for teaching and has been on a journey to deliver the very best golf instruction possible, researching many different fields and techniques in and around the golf industry. Ian currently instructs at Leadbetter Golf Academy Velbert where he has travelled throughout Europe teaching all levels of players ranging from absolute beginners to European and Asian Tour Professionals. More recently, Ian has been coaching Max Kieffer to success on the European Tour.

Andrew Nicholson

Andrew Nicholson is the European Head of Coaching and is one of Leadbetter Golf Academies most experienced golf coaches, having worked for the academy since 1997. His coaching experience spans across the US, Europe, Asia and the UK. He currently heads instruction at Leadbetter Golf Academy Wynyard, the longest running Leadbetter Golf Academy. He is acknowledged as one of the finest coaches in his field and specializes in elite development. As a Tour Coach, England Golf coach and past BBC Swing analyst, his passion for player development and in particular developing children to Elite National levels, has equated to enormous success.

J.J. Rivet

J.J. Rivet is one of the pioneers of golf biomechanics. Based on a scientific method and 20 years spent on the various professional golf circuits of the PGA, as well as on the competition sites of other sports such as rugby / windsurfing / motor racing and motorcycle, JJhas developed 2 totally innovative concepts: the Biomecaswing concept and the Biomecasport concept. ​

Andrew John Strauss

Former English cricketer who played all formats of the game internationally, and captained England in all formats. In 2015, he became the Director of Cricket for the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Robin Symes

Robin Symes has been involved with the game of golf for over 20 years. Following his amateur career, he pursed his professional career playing in mini tours, regional tours, with invitations on European Tour. While competing, Robin was achieving his PGA Class A status and it was during this time he developed a great interest in teaching. He has taught in numerous countries including Ireland, England, Spain and Korea, where he has been based since 2006. He has taken students from being junior’s right through to lifting major championship trophies, and as a result developed the reputation as one of the leading instructors in Korea. He is currently the Leadbetter Director of Asia and coaches students at Leadbetter Golf Academy Korea.

David Tiberio

David Tiberio works for the Gray Institute and serves as dean of the GIFT Mentorship program and is professor emeritus at The University of Connecticut. David’s experience as a clinician and educator provides a foundation that allows the integration of the principles and strategies of Applied Functional Science® with the biomechanics of human movement. He has published numerous articles in scholarly journals and taught educational courses with Gary Gray since 1984. In 2007, David received the Kendall Award from the American Physical Therapy Association for “outstanding and enduring contributions to the practice of physical therapy”.

Dr. Martin Toms

Dr. Martin Toms is a senior lecturer in Sports Coaching in the School of Sport & Exercise Sciences, College of Life and Environmental Sciences. He has been involved in sport coaching and development for a number of years and has experience of teaching in schools, as well as professional coaching prior to taking his current role. As a sports ethnographer, he has experience in educational, coaching and club settings. He has maintained his links with grass roots sports clubs in the UK as well as playing, officiating and coaching, he is also active in youth sport at a local level.
