ChampionsGate, Florida - Assistant Academy Coordinator

Position:

This position requires a customer service professional with the ability to think both strategically as well as having great attention to detail and sales expertise. Must have an understanding of the golf industry and possess excellent communications skills both written and verbal. As the first contact point for the Academy this person must demonstrate a genuine desire to represent the brand, facilitate lasting impressions with customers and capitalize on sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling Academy lessons and golf schools
  • Customer service and relationship building with students and customers
  • Schedule student and customer bookings at the Academy
  • Welcome and host all students prior to their scheduled lesson
  • Maintain contact and relationship with customers post-lesson and repeat bookings
  • Manage pre-lesson administration on behalf of instructors
  • Coordinate with outside operations staff and instructors
  • Daily financial transactions
  • Represent the Leadbetter brand and communicate key initiatives to customers
  • Liaise with stakeholders on daily activities (Hotel and Golf Course).
  • Daily retail sales from pro-shop, including demonstration of training aids
  • Respond and develop proposals for student and customer inquiries
  • Maintain and upkeep company customer database using CRM tools
  • Assist Academy Coordinator & Academy Management in daily operations of business

 Qualifications:

  • 2-years practical experience in a customer service position
  • Proven experience in a sales capacity
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • High standards and great attention to detail
  • Deadline oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of golf industry
  • Knowledge of retail operations and POS

Package:

Part-time position (20-30 hours per week), some weekends required

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - Certified Instructor

LGA Vietnam is looking for a proactive, experienced instructor at the academy location in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 

Responsibilities will Include:

  • Development and management of junior programs, corporate programs, and lesson packaging for the academy
  • Assisting Certified Instructor Alex Smith

Compensation:

  • $1,000 USD retainer
  • 20% commission on lesson revenue
  • LGA Vietnam will organize and cover costs of all necessary work permits

Perth, Australia - Certified Instructor

LGA Australia is looking for a proactive, experienced instructor at the future academy location in Perth, Australia. This position will report directly to the CEO of the resort. Past experience in the resort golf industry is preferred.

Responsibilities will Include:

  • Oversee the training and certification process of trainee instructors
  • Develop marketing strategies and tactics to attract resort guests to the academy
  • Develop and manage team training and member clinics
  • Develop and manage junior golf programs

Beijing, China

LGA Beijing is looking for a proactive, experienced instructor at the recently opened location in the heart of Beijing. 

Accommodation:

LGA Beijing will provide a free bedroom with full bath for 1-2 months. After the 2-month period, you will be responsible for your own accommodations. 

500 RMB ($72.43) will be provided monthly for meal subsidy.

Commuting/Transportation:

LGA Beijing will provide a driver for every foreign coach’s daily commuting for 1 month. Every coach will have translators available to help with the language transition. 

LGA Beijing will provide a roundtrip air ticket once per year. (does not include baggage fees)

Hours:

Coaches will be expected to uphold similar work schedules as existing coaches.

March to October:

  • 42 hours
  • 8 hours per day (incl. 1 hour for lunch)  
  • Shifts are: 9am-5pm or 12pm-8pm

November to February:

  • 40 hours
  • 7-8 hours per day (incl. 1 hr for lunch)
  • Shifts are: 9am-5pm or 12pm-7pm.

Compensation:

  • Base + commission on lesson revenue (depending on experience)
  • 500 RMB ($72.43) per month meal subsidy
  • 100 RMB ($14.49) per month telephone subsidy
